These Terms govern your use of Footy Cross (the "App"), published under the name Footy Cross. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
The app
Footy Cross is a football trivia game. Solo, local two-player, and online modes are all part of the same app; some features (extra league filters, unlimited play) are gated behind the optional Pro subscription described below.
Accounts and guest play
You can play online as a guest, which creates an anonymous session with no personal information attached, or sign in with Apple or Google to keep your progress tied to an identity across devices. You're responsible for keeping your device and any linked sign-in method secure.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the App. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion actually removes.
Footy Cross Pro (subscriptions)
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered in two terms — weekly and annual (the annual term may include a free trial period, shown in the paywall before you subscribe). Specifics:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions — Footy Cross has no way to cancel it on your behalf.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Pricing and exact terms are shown in the App's paywall before purchase and in your App Store subscription settings, which take precedence over this summary if they ever differ.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate interactions with the App or its backend beyond normal play; don't use another person's account without permission; don't use the online modes to harass other players. We may suspend or remove access for accounts that do.
Data and content
Club, league, and player data shown in the App is sourced from public football statistics and is used for informational/trivia purposes. Club and league names, crests, and related marks belong to their respective owners; Footy Cross is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, or federation shown in the App.
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular data (player records, match history) is complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Footy Cross isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
